CoBoNet is the multimedia service provider for the construction sector. It is an offshoot of the Centre Scientifique et Technique de la Construction and the Confédération Nationale de la Construction.

In order to fulfill its duties towards the construction sector, CoBoNet wished to set-up an IT platform allowing to develop regularly on-line services to its members. While creating new services, CoBoNet would gain loyalty from sector members and ensure an additional revenue by offering paid added value services.

The CoBoNet on-line platform would allow to:

  • Develop new services (news, SMS, chat, etc.);
  • Offer a multilingual support for languages other than Dutch and French;
  • Allow a continuous provision of information always keeping the portal maintenance simple and efficient;
  • Inform on a regular basis the portal users about CoBoNet services and products;
  • Develop customer loyalty.
  • Define a new platform for on-line services;
  • Integrate into the new architecture previous CoBoNet technical choices;
  • insure 24/24, 7/7 functionning;
  • Develop a set of functionalities for the construction sector members.

After the user and technical requirements were collected using UML, Dixite developed and deployed a web portal solution based on the CoBoNet technical infrastructure.
